9/2008 Casa Montani, Rome Italy Reviewer: C. Gagliardi, USA This townhouse is simply beautiful; it's like a jewel in the heart of Rome. The locale is perfect; walking distance to all the main attractions, and the Metro Train Station is directly across the street as well. It is maticulous; the owners are lovely people; decorated beautifully. Service was supurb!!! We... more

Not a great deal to add to the previous reviews. Fantastic place to stay. Beautifully decorated and furnished rooms. Amazing bathrooms, excellent air-conditioning and windows that really do shut out the noise below. You'll only appreciate how good the windows are once you open them and hear the din from below !! It's also in a great location. Directly opposite... more

Just returned from a special birthday trip to Rome and stayed at Casa Montani... I can honestly say it was one of the best accomodations I've ever experienced. I've been to Rome on many occasions and stayed at 5 star hotels like Boscolo etc. but this little B&B which only has five rooms beats it all! The rooms are decorated... more

My husband and I have just returned from staying at the Casa Montani . The hotel is in an excellent location for exploring Rome with all the major attractions within walking distance. The hotel itself is part of a townhouse which has been refurbished to a high standard . We stayed in one of the suites (Room 5) which was... more

Rome was the first stop on our 22 day Honeymoon. We arrived from FCO airport at 1:00pm and was greeted by Giuseppe Montani. We were provided with bottles of water to refresh ourselves before heading out. We had the room for four nights, as shown on the main page of his website with the orante wood headboard recessed within an... more

We stayed at Casa Montani for 3 days, July 18-21, 2008, during our honeymoon. We absolutely loved it. The location is perfect. We arrived in Rome by train from Venice (1st part of our trip). The metro is literally around the corner of the building. This was much appreciated considering we were logging 2 large suitcases. The townhouse B&B is... more

My husband & I stayed here in April 08 for a long weekend & we loved it! The location was perfect for exploring Rome - we walked everywhere. Our room was beautifully decorated & furnished. Breakfast is served on a trolley in your room. The owner Guiseppe was really friendly & helpful. Would definitely stay there again. more

This 'hotel' is fantastic! Situated a stones throw from Piazza del Popolo, it is on the third floor of an elegant townhouse, opposite the metro and looking out on to the gates of the piazza and the edge of the Borghese Park. Once you have ascended in the beautiful birdcage lift you realise that it is not a hotel in... more

We had such a great experience staying here. Have a look at their website to see pictures of the rooms - they're just as gorgeous in real life. It is owner managed by Guiseppe, who had an architect design the whole thing and no expense has been spared. We didn't stay in one of the two suites but our room... more
