My wife and I stayed here in June 2008. Overall, I would say it is a poor value. Nothing terrible, but for the cost you should find better. Breakfast was o.k. and basic. Our queen bed was actually two twin beds placed next to each other. The mattress' were really old and we sank into the middle. Luckily, we don't... more

Fantastic! When I return to Rome, I will stay here (if it's not already booked). It is in a great location (just between the Termini station and the Coloseum). The man who runs the place (Simon) was the epitomy of hospitality. And the room that we stayed in was nice, clean, and comfortable. I would strongly recommend this place to... more

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at Gulliver's Lodge B&B. Simon was very friendly and very helpful. Location is good for walking or using the subway. Breakfast was great and the room we had was very spacious and incredibly clean. We would definitely stay there again if we ever make it back to Rome. more

We stayed for 5 nights in what I think was the only room with a door facing out into the stairwell of the apartment building the B&B is housed in. Our room was pretty good, nothing spectacular, but as a place to crash after a long day, it definitely did the job. The only major problem with it, was the... more

This was our most comfortable bed in Europe. The room had lots of amenities and a good location. Simon was always available to help. A good breakfast was included. Fairly quiet, but I recommend earplugs. Clean room, but the shower curtain smelled bad-the only negative. I would definitely stay here again. more

Wow...I can't say enough good about Gulliver's Lodge, or Simon. We booked them after reading about it in Rick Steve's Rome, and couldn't have been happier. The price is very reasonable, it's easy to find, and Simon runs a VERY tight ship. We stayed 3 places in Italy, and this was by far the best The Good: 1) comfortable. Real... more

We stayed at Gulliver's Lodge in November 07 and booked it because friends had stayed at one of the other Gulliver properties. We were seeking accommodation near Termini Station as we came in on the Leonardo Express from Fuimincino Airport - 11 euros - very good value for the 30 minute trip. The Via Cavour runs down from the station... more

My boyfriend, his sister and I stayed at Gulliver's Lodge back in June for 4 days and it was the best place that we stayed while in Europe. Simon was wonderful and really tried to get to know us during our stay. Although the is no one "technically" there in the evening most of the time Simon was there with... more

We stayed 3 nights here and just loved it. Simon was such a gracious host! We arrived late in the evening and he met us at the gate. His warm welcome put us completely at ease; he took such care to go over everything in the room with us and then told us not to worry, he'd go over everything... more

We stayed at Gulliver's Lodge for 4 nights at the end of May. We loved our experience there. The location is excellent! You can easily walk to all the major sights. Simon was very welcoming and helpful. He gave us wonderful restaurant recommendations that enhanced our enjoyment of this beautiful city. The breakfasts provided were excellent! Our room was very... more
