My mother and I are do-it-yourself travelers--we like taking buses and trains and exploring cities on our own. So it was very great for us to stay at Zoli's B&B. Bus stations were a 2-minute walk away, and the Cipro and Ottavio train stations were 5-minutes away. We could also just walk to the Vatican, so it was easy to... more

We stayed in Massimo's appartment which is a short work from the B&B. It made a great base for our long weekend stay in Rome. We had the independence of a self catering appartment with the advantage of being able to have breakfast at the B&B and benefit from Massimo's local knowledge. The appartment was spacious, very clean and perfectly... more

We finished off our Europe trip in Rome. Mr. Massimo the host/manager was awesome! He was so very friendly and eager to give us information about Rome. Rome is much different than Florence in that all of the sights are sometimes not in walking distance. So he gave us maps and valuable information on how to take the buses and... more

Mr. Zoli rents 3-4 rooms (1-2 singles) in his apartment a few blocks north of the Vatican museums entrance and also a 2-bedroom apartment 2 blocks away. Doubles were 90 euros in late October 2007, also what we paid when he put 2 of us in the quiet apartment nearby, which may normally rent for more. It’s on the 7th... more

This was our first visit to Rome. Zoli was a superb host who ensured we got the most out of our short stay. His expert knowledge meant we could miss the queues and eat in some great places. The room was large, clean and very comfortable. It was excellent value for money and i would recommend it. more

This is a wonderful B&B located with a 10 minute walk from the Vatican, shopping and resturants. The bus and Metro (Subway) were a 10 minute walk from the residence and, in the morning, there is a street with vendors selling fruits, vegetables, cheese and cold cuts, all of an excellent quality, etc. We usually stopped there to get our... more

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Massimo. His place is clean and comfortable and only a few blocks from the Vatican Museum and St. Peter's Basilica. He is eager to show you a map of major attractions, bus routes, and advice on good times to visit (e.g., don't wait in the 2-hour morning line for the Vatican Museum -- go... more

Massimo Zoli is the perfect host. He is around when you need him and goes out of his way to be helpful. He is there every morning for suggestions of where to go and how to get there. We wasted no time with the maps that he provided for us. He waited for our luggage to show up from the... more

Rome was our first stop during our 1/2 month trip to Italy, and Mr. Zoli made our Rome stay a wonderful and memorable one. We arrived in the afternoon and Mr. Zoli greeted us and told us that we will instead be staying at an apartment about 2 blocks away. We had this huge apartment, with 2 bedrooms, one full... more

We loved our stay at Massimo Zoli's B&B. It is in a residential neighborhood yet only a ten minute walk to the vatican. It is a great place to get away from all the tourism in the evening. The rooms are quite plain and very clean. Same goes for the bathroom. The Osteria de Angelo, recommended by Massimo and just... more
