If you're going to stay in Rome, stay at the Hotel Barberini. We booked 2 rooms for 5 people for 2 nights. I can't say enough about the great service, the fantastic location, and the hotel itself. The rooms aren't huge (few are in Europe), but they were a lot larger than we expected. Very comfortable, and very well appointed.... more

Just returned from the Hotel Barberini in Rome. Location is great as it is just off the Piazza Barberini which is in walking distance to many sights. I liked that is tucked away off of any main streets that can be very noisy. The room was small but very clean and nicely appointed. The rooms are soundproofed so sleeping was... more

This was a really nice hotel. Clean, comfortable, and nice staff. The breakfast was really nice. Staff were pleasant. The only downside was the size of the room. more

I stayed at the Hotel Barberini in June for two nights. I arrived in Rome at 9am, and upon getting out of the cab at the hotel was accosted by a gypsy and her two children who unsuccessfully attempted to pickpocket me. Believe what you hear about them, they are very clever and I caught her with her hand in... more

My wife and I recently got married and spent our honeymoon in Europe. We spent our last three days and nights in Rome, Italy. My wife had been to Rome in the past and wanted to stay near the Trevi Fountain and Spanish steps. She found the Hotel Barberini on the internet and liked the location of the hotel and... more

The location of this hotel is great, which is why we stayed here. They room was small, but is typical for Rome. The bathroom was nice. We LOVED our balcony and sat out on it every night, drinking local wine and watching the night life of the city. The breakfast was good, more than some hotels have in Europe. It... more

Rome: Hotel Barberini "A very good hotel" Date: September 2007 Reviewer: John & Patricia, Dublin, Ireland We had a very enjoyable five day holiday in Rome at the end of August 2007. We selected the Hotel Barberini partly for its central location but mainly for the positive reviews it had received on TripAdvisor. We were very pleased with our choice... more

My husband and I spent 4 days at Hotel Barberini for part of our honeymoon. It was a lovely place from the staff to the decor. After our 8 hour flight, we were greeted with a basket of fruit in our room. The room was clean with an in-room safe. At our request, each evening the front desk staff made... more

Booked Hotel through OTEL.com and arranged our own flights. Was my birthday weekend and to avoid problems on arrival I contacted the Hotel at 10pm the night before travelling to enquire about a taxi from Fiumicino to Barberini. They expertly organised a great driver 60 euros to pick us up. We were treated to a history of Rome on the... more

Hotel Barberini was a truly lovely experience. Small hotel located in Rome within walking distance of many attractions (across street from Palazzo Barberini) with old time charm. Very happy with room. Staff EXTREMELY polite and helpful. Breakfast (included with room) on rooftop terrace was wonderful way to start the day. Lots of choices for restaurants in immediate area. We left... more
