The hotel location was great with stunning views of the Colosseum from the pool! . However the hotel is very old and needs a make over badly! The room size was good and had everything that you needed it just wasnt 4 star value though. I didnt eat or drink at the hotel because the prices were very expensive so... more

I booked this hotel simply for the location and rooftop pool and terrace. The marketing for the hotel was wonderful and I expected a luxurious 4 star accomodation for my five year weddinganniversary weekend with my husband. I did read the reviews and had compared a few hotels in the area but I was willing to give it a chance... more

We had booked this hotel for two visits a week apart with a stay in Sorrento in the middle. On our first arrival we arrived the hotel at 1140 on a hot (96 degrees) Wednesday in July and, despite being early, after a bit of searching, a room was found for us. We had a 3 bed room, one double... more

I had booked a three day trip to Rome and up until the day before our trip I had booked a different hotel, then I realised that the temperature was going to be very hot so opted to look for a hotel with a pool. This is difficult considering half of the hotels in the centre of with pools are... more

I booked this hotel because it was the only reasonably priced hotel with a pool in Rome. The pool and location (close to Colloseum) are this hotel's only redeeming features. 1. Service is lack lustre and rude. Staff seem to think they are the ones on holiday; work appears to be something which gets in the way of their down... more

If you read reviews for reasoanbly-priced hotels in the historic part of Rome, you will find that 90 % of complaints are about the size of rooms being too small. This hotel is no exception and it is certainly no luxury hotel either. However, just being able to see the Coloseum as you exit your hotel (and from the window... more

Pleasant staff and a great location. But expensive and the room (one of their triples) felt very cramped for two of us and our 10yr old son, with narrow windows and oddly located pillars. I don't understand the comments from visitors who said that the rooms seemed old. The building is fairly recent although the architect should be shot. The... more

I gave it an above average rating due to its location. The hotel is located about 400m from the Colesseum and the Colesseo Metro. Although rooms were fairly old they were clean and of reasonable size. Good about the hotel is that its has bus stops right in front of the hotel and you can hop on to the bus... more

I booked this hotel for a 40th birthday present for my partner who was very keen to see the colossum. This was the perfect hotel. About 500 yards left from the Metro which is right in front of the Colosseum. I booked with venere and paid £400 for 3 nights. I emailed the hotel proir to my arrival and requested... more

Rooms are really in bad shape. I guess they have not been refurbished since decades. Room has not been cleaned up by the maid. Features in the bath room were down and dirty, or even broken. On the positive side. Nice breakfast, nice pool area at the roof with a great view. But....definitely way too expensive (I paid 185 Euro... more
