I'd certainly recommend this hotel. It is spotlessly clean, very bright and airey. Lovely pool, and sweet little courtyard with citrus tress, which is where you have breakfast. Overall the hotel was pretty nice, but we were there during Easter week so we paid high season prices. I think I would have been more forgiving about some of the small disappointments if the price point was lower. Capri itself is absolutely perfect and the Canasta is a great place to stay if you are on a limited budget as the Island is very pricey. The hotel is small, charming and very clean. I stayed 3 nights in October 2007 for a conference. For just 80€/night I did not expect much - but what a surprise. Very nice, super-clean rooms - made up several times a day.
