stayed 3 nights for a conference in town. I can't say enough good things about this hotel. the owner is very nice--Roberto as well as the other staff are wiling to set up dinner reservations for you etc. Also, he was very accomodating when we needed an earlier breakfast. the whole Sassi district is beautiful, and worth the effort also.... more

We live in Italy (we are spanish) and that's the second time we've been to Matera.
