I had an excellent days at hotel Via Augusta from Barcelona. the hotel is very clean, quiet - if you choose rooms at Via Augusta superior - which means that are renovated rooms - and the breakfast is very tasty. Fontana metro station is very near - 4 minutes. more

Via Augusta is a great little hotel in the new quarter, really convenient for metro and in a good safe neighborhood for walking. The staff at the hotel did not speak very good english and were not friendly at all. Standard of the bedrooms was very poor, bad lighting, windows didnt close. Having just returned from a trip to see barcelona play at the nou camp I stayed at via Augusta Hotel booked for three nights left after two no sleep! the noise at night is constant to much to list. would have been better of sleeping in the nou camp with a full crowd. more
