As Starwood Gold they upgraded to a Junior Suite was special and well equipped with 2 bathrooms, 4 sinks, 4 phones and two flat screen tvs, 3 Juliette balconies and a view of the pool. Location is a bit noisy being in the center of town so when the tour busses arrive from the Cadiz ships...well, you know they have... more

I was terribly disappointed with Alfonso XIII. Having some experience with Starwood and their Luxury Collection, I never expected this property to be so poorly maintained. The architecture is of course very impressive, but that's it. The decor is poor almost to the point of looking shabby, the hallways cold and almost hospice-like, the rooms uncared for, and old-fashioned in... more

Stayed in a Double Grand Deluxe Room for 2 nights with my family, and the overall experience is rather pleasant. Room was oversized, nicely decorated, albeit the wooden furniture was somewhat worn off. Again, the only small negative of the room is the lack of flat screen TV. Staff was friendly and efficient, helped us get tickets for Flamenco dance... more

Talk about living large!!! Booked the place with SPG points and we were upgraded to a Junior Suite. We didn't know what to do with ourselves in the room, as there was so much space! The grounds are spectacular and everywhere you turn is an opportunity for a photo op. What was nice is that the Cathedral and Alcazar are... more

I stayed at the Alfonso with my partner and 11 year old daughter. The hotel was nothing short of amazing. The service is impeccable, the service warm, and the food good. The rooms are quite large and decorated in a very traditional manner. Our upgraded room had a huge bathroom. The pool is a great addition, since Seville is blazing... more

This is probably one of the most amazing hotels in Spain, great location, awesome rooms, incredible service... But still its is ver overpriced. The rooms are very fresh, though they have very nice andalusian furniture, the hotel surroundings are amazing, a ver nice pool and gardens. And more than anything, top notch service! But I hate to go back and... more

The Hotel is a magnificent old building, wonderful decor, absolute luxury. Drawback was hygene and cleanliness. The standards of cleaning were what I would expect from a minus grade hostel. Worse however was the less than interested response to my complaint. more

Incredibly ornate, beautifully maintained hotel, extremely close to all of the sights of Sevilla. Huge, comfortable bed... detailed decor, extremely helpful and pleasant staff. One of the most gorgeous hotels I have ever stayed in! A few bits of helpful info * Parking is valet at a cost of fifteen euros per day * Checkout is 12.00pm more

Beautiful old, ornate and elegant. Love the electric window shades. We were able to sleep well into the afternoon after a long night out. Rooms were clean and comfortable. more

In such a great city, with so much history, which is an absolute jewel, you expect the best from a hotel of the caliber of Hotel Alfonso XIII once the best Hotel in Spain. Many problems: the air-condition was too weak in a period when we had 43C , in my room personally the air-condition was even dropping water in... more
