Stayed in a Double Grand Deluxe Room for 2 nights with my family, and the overall experience is rather pleasant. Room was oversized, nicely decorated, albeit the wooden furniture was somewhat worn off. Again, the only small negative of the room is the lack of flat screen TV. Talk about living large!!! Booked the place with SPG points and we were upgraded to a Junior Suite. We didn't know what to do with ourselves in the room, as there was so much space! The Hotel is a magnificent old building, wonderful decor, absolute luxury. Drawback was hygene and cleanliness. The standards of cleaning were what I would expect from a minus grade hostel. Worse however was the less than interested response to my complaint. more
