Friends have been going back to this place for a few years running but I think this may well have been the last visit. We stayed at the parkplaza for my hen party! After reading some of the review i was a tad concerned, but i have been proven wrong by reviews in the past so we went with an open mind! I feel the need to comment on Puerto Banus first. This is not a family resort. It is suitable for stags, hens, and golf trips. The bars and restaurants are very good, but if you are sensitive about being pestered by ladies of the night or vendors of various substances then don't go. It has very little character. Park Plaza is definitely not a four-star hotel. Rooms had a musty smell, and the worst was the staff - rude and unhelpful. They insisted that the room, which was reserved from another hotel we stayed at, should be paid for in advance, telling us that that it was the policy of all hotels, and, if we did not like... more

What can I say, went on a girlie weekend (group of 9 lovely ladies) and booked two apartments. Both apartments were incredibly spacious all three bedrooms had their own bathroom and even a guest toilet in the entrance way. I had reserved a three bedroom ocean view 6 months in advance with my credit card and recieved my confirmation. One week before travel I get an email from Park Plaza Suites that they are out of room and offered me two choices: either cancel my vacation or move to another hotel. The suites are very dated and in my opinion are only just of 3 star quality so very overpriced!! Breakfast was not included so we ate that in the hotel which could not be faulted. We stayed in these apartments when on my hen weekend in June. These suites are absolutely ideal for groups of men/women as they are close to all nightlife and all amenities. The beach with beach bars and restaurants are just next to it. The apartments themselves are very spacious with 2 large bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a huge living area.... more
