In the heart of Cordoba, close to the narrow lanes of La Juderia, is this lovely little nine room inn which has associations with the famous restaurant El Churrasco. The en-suite rooms are each named after artists and are uniquely decorated with typical Andalusian furniture and antiques. All the nine rooms of the Hospederia de El Churrasco have a matrimonial double bed. They may facilitate twin beds only in the superior rooms. more » « less

I would agree with other reviewers that this hotel is very hard to find by car. As you follow the signs, the streets get narrower and narrower, to the point where you start to doubt that you can actually get through. However, once you arrive there is a private car park, which is a godsend in this area. We parked... more

This is one of the nicest hotels to stay in -- feels more like a home. Its charming, full of antiques, little courtyards to have breakfasts, and a jacuzzi in the room. The staff was outstanding -- warm and very friendly. And terrific location (steps from the Mezquita). more

One of the loveliest small hotels I've stayed in! We had two rooms (one double, one twin); both were booked as superior rooms. Both were furnished sumptuously and had great bathrooms. For twin rooms, one must book a superior room, into which an extra temporary bed is placed; this detracts a little from the overall effect of the room, but... more

What a wonderful little hotel, hidden in one of the back streets of Cordoba very quiet but 50 yards from the hustle and bustle of the main old town. Our room was stunning, we even had a huge flat screen t.v. and own computer with internet access. On arrival we were offered local wine and breakfast in your room is... more

A small hotel, 9 rooms. We were upgraded to the Romeo and Juliet Suite with private terrace. The room was immaculate, with a large TV and a PC. The bathroom was spacious. The deco was red, gold, plush and kitsch and the bed was enormous. The service was impeccable, and the breakfast was generous and delicious. The room was quiet... more

We stayed here for 1 night in Mar 2008. We had a wonderful stay. The hotel was great. Our room was huge and even had a computer with internet access. My wife enjoyed all the various bath products. Since it was Holly Week the hotel was fully booked, but we still received great service. more

This place by far was the best hotel we stayed at during our honeymoon in Spain. It's more like a bed & breakfast than a hotel - so beautifully decorated and the location is wonderful - in the old Jewish quarter, right next to everything but slightly off the main paths and therefore, fairly quiet. The building had all these... more

We spent two nights at the hotel. We have a 15 year old and a twelve year old. This was our favorite hotel in Spain. We were there on new year's eve and hadn't booked anything. They directed us where to go for dinner and then where to go for the midnight festivities. Rooms are very nice and clean. Breakfast... more

This was a wonderful find. Very well and comfortably furnished in a modern fashion (internet screen in every bedroom) but set in a traditional style, and very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Wonderful breakfast including real freshly prepared orange juice. In the centre of the Jewish Quarter. If going by car arrange parking beforehand and ask for instructions – or... more

This Hotel is one of the best we have ever stayed in. The staff was incredibly helpful. We felt so welcome and cared for from the minute we arrived until we left. Our room was huge as we were upgraded to a superior at no charge. The decor is roccoco and baroque, but in spite of all the gilt and... more
