We booked a triple (in fact, double with extra bed), and I had been very clear on the fact that the extra bed was for a teenager, size of an adult, and that I wanted a room large enough for 3 beds. We got the front room : noisy, dark, direct view on people's feet in the street), and the... more
Loved Hotel Lola. Stayed here with a friend in a twin room - think ours was Zuhara (or something similar - started with Z). Cute furnishings, good size room, overlooked the street. Street is busy during the day with tourists but gets quiet at night. There were 2 rooms on the ground floor which I would imagine are noisy but... more
This was a charming small hotel. TripAdvisor says they only have 3 rooms, I think it is more like 8. When we stayed there only 2 rooms were booked, ours and another. The hotel clerk said it was because it was so hot, that this wasn't the busy season. Our room was on the second floor, and had a small... more
We checked in for one night here recently and were told they only had one room left, the one in the front. And it is REALLY in the front, right at street level, with a window that doesn't shut properly. You can hear absolutely everything outside. We asked if the street was quiet at night and were told it was...... more
This is a small hotel in the Juderia in Cordoba, very close to the Mosque. It is beautifully situated for access to the sites of Cordoba. The hotel rooms are small, rather hot (this was in December) and overdecorated with somewhat sexist paintings, and twee furnishings. Breakfast included was essentially starch, starch (stale bread and chocolate croissant), coffee and orange... more
Despite some worry about Lola being a very small hotel, I was delighted by my stay. LOCATION: Walking distance to anything, tourist sites, shopping, restaurants, etc. Everything is very close. However it is a little difficult to find Lola if you are driving in with your own car; be warned that the streets are very narrow and are one way.... more
We stayed 3 nights mid-November. Like others we chose the Lola room with its little private terrace. The room is compact, to say the least, and the terrace doesn't give you postcard views. But, that said, it was intimate, clean, well decorated and furnished, the staff polite and accomodating, and the terrace so totally ours that we felt more like... more
What I remember most about this hotel is how extraordinary the staff was. Eva, Dulce, and others were all wonderfully caring and helpful. We stayed in the Lola Room which has a nice balcony with a table and chairs. The problem is that the bedroom size is somewhat smaller as a result of the space given over to the balcony.... more
Beautiful hotel with exceptionally nice staff. Our room had a terrace. Ask the receptionist if they can recommend somewhere for dinner. more
