Stayed here while in Wiesbaden for a business trip - the price was right but I could not believe my eyes - quite elegant in decor - incredibly quiet (though I was not on the "01" end - see another review) - staff was wonderful, very helpful - they have a restaurant that is first-rate - i ate there twice... more

Sleek contemporary architecture and interior design as well as a spectacular urban setting on the Rhine make this hotel a top choice in Mainz. Our room at the end of the hall on the second floor had a killer view. Bed, bath and amenities were top rate. Location is a bit out of the city center but a pleasant walk... more

We spent two nights here- one to begin our vacation and one to end it. The first night was perfect. We arrived before check-in and were upgraded to a nonsmoking Club Deluxe Room (651) because they were "fully booked". (we were already paying for a nonsmoking Regency Club King View Room). There was a nice welcoming letter for us, and... more

Simply perfect stay. Beautiful hotel, rooms very nice. Breakfast leaves no wish open. Hotel is located directly at the Rhine side. Don't forget to take a stroll along the river Rhine. Mainz is not such a highlight for itself, therefore I recommend to visit the city "Wiesbaden" just on the opposite side of the Rhine as well as the Vine-area... more

I just returned from my 3rd stay at this hotel, and I can't recommend it enough. It is a 5 minute walk from the south Mainz train station (was called Mainz Sud, now called Romantisches Theater). The hotel is right on the Rhine River, with a short walk into the city center. The staff, lobby, restaurant and rooms are all... more

This hotel was perfect for my family! We had to travel to Frankfurt to see my daughter in a basketball game and we wanted some fun along the way. My husband and I were traveling with my 14 yr. old son. The hotel was very easy to find with the Tom-Tom. Check-in was simple and the staff spoke excellent English.... more

This hotel is special: it is located on the banks of the Rhine River and the architecture is brilliant. Part of the hotel is a 19 th century fortress, but all in all it has a very modern design. Very friendly service at check-in. Room was spacious and elegant, bathroom very clean and had both, bathtub and shower, two fluffy... more

We stayed 2 nights at the Hyatt in Mainz and had a wonderful stay. The rooms were spacious and had great views over the Rhine. The hotel is a short walk to the main centre of Mainz. The bathrooms were big and clean, the room had everything that you would need. I will stay here again. more

Stayed here a couple of times this year, This Hotel is indeed one of the best! rooms are very generous, relaxing and spacious, and eating breakfast over looking the river rhine is really something when the sun comes up early. The staff were true professionals. The chef created the most delicious omlettes while you waited and you chose your filling,... more

Stayed here for two nights in October 2007. We turned up without a reservation after rejecting the Hilton. This is an excellent hotel, right on the river and within walking distance of the town. We ideally needed a wheelchair-accessible room, and they only have one! Luckily, it was free the first night so we took it (room 327) and moved... more
