Really enjoyed this hotel. Great value. Rooms are up-to-date, clean and well maintained. The staff were fluent english speakers. Walking distance to the shopping district & old town. Buffet breakfast was good. It's a little hard to find. Look for the Thai restaurant on the corner, it's right next door. Parking is limited. Nine spaces only if I remember correctly. more

It didn't start well - my heart sank when the taxi stopped outside and I saw where we were staying. The hotel is in a building in which part of the frontage is a shop and the whole thing looked a bit seedy, which of course it is not. The reception is in a small front area that doubles as... more

Sharp, small 4 star hotel tucked away in a quite side street, yet close to the railway station, Konigs Allee, the shopper's paradise and not far from the altstadt and the Rhine. Our 5th floor room proved an ideal lair for a short break, warm, well equipped and the hotel has interesting artwork and friendly staff. The breakfast room is... more

Booked this one night stay as I had to be near the station, which the hotel info suggested it was (500m). However, walking out in the dark early evening, I soon was lost and had to go into another (budget) hotel and order a taxi. I did walk back to the station the next morning, took ten minutes. Could be... more

Boutique hotel with emphasis on the product. The staff was very helpful but did not always have the services needed at 4 and 5 star hotels. The ceiling heights kept me from feeling like I was in a 22 M squared room. We did not experience anything negative (noise, etc.) with thge room. The comforter and pillows were nice. The... more

This is a good quality hotel, particularly at the rate and seeing as it’s in one of Germany’s most affluent cities. The location is good as it’s only a short stroll from the main train station in one direction and the main shopping drag in the other. Our room was on the top floor and was rather smart (read minimalist)... more

Spent one night at the Burns Art Hotel this past weekend and enjoyed the stay. I have to admit I was a little surprised when we arrived as the entrance did not look anything like in the photos. I was a bit nervous as it looks like a non-descript, old building with a tiny reception area. The lady at the... more

We stayed for 2 nights in Burns Art. It is a cosy and chic boutique hotel. Unfortunately, our room was facing the street, which appeared to be affected by the noise from the street as well as people going out (it was weekend....). This is probably less important in winter, but in sommer when you open the terasse door you... more

This is a cracking little hotel, I stayed here for a conference when that hotel was full (thank goodness). The room was nice with with natural stone floors and a separate lounge and a balcony (bit of a random view but no problem for me). The bathroom was nice, although the bath was perhaps a little small and cramped due... more
