This is a good, solid hotel if you need to be near the airport in Dusseldorf. It’s located on the top floor of the parking structure of the airport, directly across from the main entrance. We had a one day layover in Dusseldorf and stayed at the Arabella Sheraton. The best feature of ths hotel is the location. It is within walking distance of the Airport terminals and it's on the Subway line which is easy to navigate. The rooms are modern and clean and the reception is very helpful. The only decent hotel in the neighbouring area if you need to stay near the airport over night to catch a plane or rent a car in the morning. Stayed here one Sat night to catch an early morning flight. Everything about this place was excellent for an Airport Hotel. Check in friendly & very nice. Room way above average. Distance from my room to the Delta check in counter...100 yds. Hard to beat with several dining options at the Airport within 200 yds of our room. more

This is not a 4-star property... perhaps 3 star in US terms. Had an absolutely miserable night's sleep (or lack of it) because the mattress was encased in a zippered rubber/plastic thing under the sheet. Sweated all night...if you can imagine sleeping on plastic?! And paid 169 euro - US$225 - (without breakfast) for this...?! The bathroom was the smallest... more
