My partner and I stayed at the Zur Post in September this year. The room was extremely comfortable, even providing motorcycle shaped welcome chocolates! The food was excellent. Large portions of well cooked and prepared food. Klaus and Bettina were superb hosts and nothing was too much trouble. We are definitely going back to sample the wonderful hospitality we experienced... more

I stayed in the "Zur Post" for several weeks. The hotel is near to the Rhein and very near to some companies, but it is rather far to the city center of Bonn (ca. 30 minutes by streetcar) The apartement I had booked had very old furniture and carpets with stains. The Zur Post is a very pleasant family-run hotel, traditionally decorated. The bedrooms are a good size with ensuite bath/shower room. They have a good bar and restaurant with a range of meals (Although I am a Veggie, and they did not have much for me on the menu, they were happy to rustle something up for me on request).... more
