We where satisfied by this hotel. Location : S-bahn and U-bahn within 150 meters quiet street with artgalleries, a very good Vietnamese restaurant and a lovely bar. Hakesche Höfe within walking distance, as is Museuminsel. Room : more spacious then average, very clean, TV, Minibar, great bed... Great value for money! This is one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in. Its located in the trendy Auguststrasse area, full of art galleries and stylish restaurants. Its also walking distance to Hackescher Markt, which has wonderful shops and beautiful architecture, built around a series of inner courtyards.
