One thing to note is that this hotel is in the red light district, and in fact has strip clubs/brothels next to it and opposite it. This did not cause us any problems during our stay at all and the streets were not at all threatening, but if you're visiting with kids its something you might want to think about.... more

Stayed here for one night for oktoberfest. Cost us a fortune (but thats oktoberfest for you). Our triple room was big enough, the breakfast ok, the bathroom pretty good. Only hassle was the line to pay by credit card was down, so we had to go get cash. Would have been a huge problem if you had a huge bill. more

Hotel Italia is close to the train station, is clean and has a great breakfast. For the price, better hotels can probably be found. Our room was basic, quite generic, and had a very poky shower with nowhere to put the soap. Not a picturesque street, but safe enough. Very friendly staff. more
