We requested a queen sized bed, double occupancy room. when we checked in, we found ourselves in a 2-story suite!! we were so surprised. the room was gorgeous and there were two gourmet chocolate displays set out upon arrival in our room! The bathroom was huge! there were 2 tvs, one on each floor. In short, the room was ridiculous.... more

I had a three night stay here in March after arriving from Berlin. My total price was about $100 per night on a travel website. There were similar quality hotels in the area for less, however, I chose the Mercure because I had previously stayed in one in Paris and decided to go with what I know. Getting there: Most... more

First of all we there placed in a smoking room, although stating that we prefer a non-smoking room on our reservation. But as we arrived very late we could be bothered to request another room. When checking-in you get breakfast vouchers, one per day per person. This does not mean that breakfast is included in the room price (which is... more

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in January. I loved the fact that this hotel was within 5 minutes easy walk from the train station (great for early trains). I had read that the area was sleezy but I had no problems with it at all. It was a great price - 89euro a night for a triple... more

My wife and I stayed at this hotel and found it to be pleasant. It is in a very convenient location for travel by train as the Hauptbahnof is at the end of the street which gives you easy access to regional, intercity and the airport trains, there was no need for a cab to the station. Hotel is also... more

After having read all other reviews in various sites, we were delighted to find out that it was all 'false alarm'. Everything was great about this hotel! The rooms were enormous, very clean and modern, breakfast was just great, the receptionists very polite and everything was great in general!!! I would definitely recommend it! more

We had a bad experience at this hotel. First, there wasn't a day when the housekeeping was satisfactory - glasses not taken way or replaced, bathroom not cleaned etc. Second, on arrival the hotel blocked my credit card for a large sum (much more than the cost of the room, and despite their assurances, failed to unblock it, with the... more

This was my third visit to Munich and I have never failed to enjoy my stay in this brilliant city. The Mercure is well located and the rooms are comfortable enough with ample sized beds, modern bathrooms and an overall satisfactory level of accommodation. My criticisms are: 1) Clothing was taken from the room (maybe by a careless maid when... more

Let’s be honest, anyone’s looking for an hotel want to get the best quality/price proportion; this is not only true for people that want “low cost” hotels, but also for who has higher budgets: who wants to spend more to get the same value? In this sense, this hotel is absolutely one of the best I’ve ever been considering the... more

This is a clean decent hotel in a very central location. It is not the greatest area in Munich but it is very central being next to the central train station. My room was very small. I managed fine but it is one of the smallest hotel rooms I have stayed in. The rooms and hotel are clean and newly... more
