Lovely smaller hotel with all the service of one twice the size. Helped us with anything we needed. Room was good size. Lovely town, we were only there one night and wished we could have stayed more (that was true of all Germany/Austria too). Charming rooms, family/home touches everywhere. Was really pleased with this hotel. Was welcomed in impeccable English (but also delighted that staff throughout were keen to let me try out my German rather than just switching to English). We atayed 2 nights here and the hotel employees were thoughtful, helpful and smiling. This hotel is a gem in a quiet peaceful location right in town. Breakfast is superb and the rooms are spotless and charming. Nice large bathrooms. I highly recommend this hotel. more

The Hotel Bavaria was a very good value. It is conveniently located, had spacious rooms, with balconies, very accomodating staff and the restaurant food was excellent and reasonable. Our only complaint was the bathroom, which could have used some refurbishing. more
