Surprising hotel - looked a little jaded from outside, but the room was good, comfortable, and clean. Also thought I'd have difficulty sleeping, ground floor, taxi rank and streetlight outside window, but curtains were lightproof and the room also soundproof, didn't get disturbed at all. Location is very convenient too, especially with free travelcard. Breakfast good too. Overall, thought it... more

This hotel is in the same building as the main train station, which makes it very easy to drop off your bags and then go out to Stuttgart's main shopping area. I found the check-in to be smooth, the hotel personnel friendly and bilingual. They gave me a free travel card for the buses and trams which was nice. Don't... more

This isn't a very good hotel. Its dated and the layout is confusing. The room doorknobs are the strangest doorknobs I've ever seen. The room walls had poor patch work done on them and the bathroom was an odd design. Overall however, the room was clean and comfortable. However, our purpose for staying at this hotel was convenience. We were... more

We stayed at this hotel for two nights and when we arrived, about 10pm at night, we were told that we had a reservation but the room had been given away. I had proof that we had a guaranteed booking and that the room would be kept for us all night. However, the receptionist told us that there was only... more

I will start by saying, I have stayed in worse hotels. But, this is NOT a good hotel. It is not only older and visibly worn, but it is dirty. The walls in room had many stains on them. While, the sheets and beds were fine, it's obvious no changes have been made to upgrade the rest of the room... more

Being on a 3days business trip, I booked this hotel. Can't be closer to the train station as it is actually part of the building but no noise at all once in the hotel. The room was not new but clean, good beds, clean sheets and a really good and helpful staff. There was no more non-smoking room and I... more

Yes, you can hardly stay more central, since the hotel is actually inside the train station. Atmosphere was somewhat old-fashioned. Various daily papers supplied at reception (English and German) as well as free apples at reception. Long distance from lift to room. Interestingly, two fans in room which were of course not needed in October, but it can sure be... more

Stayed at this hotel for three nights at the end of August. The hotel is very centrally located, both for exploring the city on foot and by the excellent transport system. As the hotel supplies each guest with a free travel pass for the duration of their stay it works out convenient and cheap. The rooms were clean if not... more

This hotel had very sub-standard accomodations. The bed linens and towels were yellowed and stained. The T.V did not work properly. The volume on the T.V did not work so you could not turn it down. Very outdated and poor furniture. No proper emergency exits. Rooms that were hard to find. Very disappointed and would not recommend to any traveler. more

I stayed there for one day in late September. I found the place to be very friendly and cheap. It's located on the corner of the central rail station building in downtown Stuttgart, which was great for getting around whether you were walking or taking the trains around town. They gave me an unlimited rail pass for the duration of... more
