This was an average 3-star hotel near the train station. Rooms were average Euro size with a small bathroom. No fans meant hot weather in the summer, noisy street outside of hotel (college apartments). Staff was friendly. 15-20 minute walk to Hauptstrasse (downtown). An inexpensive hotel that is a 5 minute walk from the train station, 15-20 minutes to Bismark place, and 25-30 minutes to the center of the old town. My room was quite grim and had an odd odor. nice and decent place to stay....just 2 min walk from the railway station. conviniently located, downtown takes 15min to walk. rooms are neat and clean with all basic amenities. bathroom is huge compared to the room size with a grand tub...it was cozy....rates pretty decent compared to heidelberg being one of the most beautiful castle towns of germany.....flooded by good... more
