In 10 years I visited Grenoble 100 times and sampled many hotels. The Park is one of my favorites for business visits. I like the staff at the reception and the restaurant who welcomed me nicely (even the first time). Dinner is served up to midnight, convenient if you have to work late. Do not let the rating fool you! The question here is "What criteria is required to earn star rating in Grenoble, France?" This dump would hardly register 1-2 in the US! The hotel has a nice lobby and friendly staff but it is not centrally located for those that wish to tour the city. It is a tram ride or cab ride away from the train station and a long walk to the Old Town. There is a tram station nearby that serves both the Old Town and the train station.... more
