I have just returned from the chamois blanc and would like to say i found the place very pleasant and ejoyable ,reception staff were very helpfull and will help you all they can,rooms were dated if your bothered about flowery furnishings,kitchen is fully equiped even provide you with washing up liquid,sponge and dishwasher tablets.towels were good quality and bed sheets... more

I booked this hotel in December 07 through Thomson/Crystal. As it was quite last minute I knew I wouldn't get exactly what I wanted but it looked nice enough and they advertise it as being ideal for families- which it is not! We stayed in "Le Chamois Blanc" this January. First impressions are that the residence is in need of a little renovation. The reception/ lift area is quite shabby and badly in need of a facelift. We were expecting to stay in Residence Ciel & Logis but upon check in found out that we were allocated to Chamois Blanc - it seems that Ciel & Logis have lots of accomodation around Chamonix Sud (Place Edmund Desailloud).
