Good location. The room was a decent size and cleanish- the commercial carpeting had some cigarette burns (in our non-smoking room) and was questionably clean. The bathroom had plenty of hot water and was cleanish. There was a TV in our room but no clock. We didn't have the breakfast, it's 9 euros extra. There's a grocery store (Monoprix) down... more

Friendly welcoming staff, but poorly maintained hotel with stiky carpets and dirty walls. Bed was comfortable, and shower was good. Good location. Breakfast was ok – typical continental. Free wifi more

The location was great, and my room had 2 windows with balcony that opened to a great view of the harbor. The room was spacious, and bed was comfortable, but the decor was older and a little worn. The carpets really should have been shampooed. I only stayed one night and had a comfortable rest. If I had stayed longer... more

We spent a night there with our three kids. This was one of the few hotels that had connecting rooms. The rooms were small but not tiny, and both had nice little balconies looking over the main street. Location was nice and price was good, but there was nothing very inviting or luxurious abou tthe place. It was somewhat run-down;... more

We (myself, my wife and our adult daughter) stayed here for 3 nights in mid-April of 2007. We were a little apprehensive after reading some of these reviews but were pleasantly surprised. The location is superb--right on the Vieux Port, next to the Metro station, and with lots of interesting restaurants and cafe's very close by. The front desk staff... more

My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel for two nights and our experience was horrible. I have to say that the only great thing about this hotel is the staff. About the room, I have no idea how this hotel can be rated with 3 stars. The room smelled like dog pee, the carpet was horrible!! (see the pictures)... more

The venue having been chosen and booked by a friend while I was away in Australia I checked the reviews on my return and thought what the hell have I been let in for, some reviews of the hotel led me to believe I was going to stay in a flea-pit and the reviews of Marseille weren't much more complimentary.... more

This Hotel is in dire need of a re-furbishment as previously stated. Really, really run down and quite grubby, although the beds were comfy as also previously stated. Staff pleasant and I made it my business to let them know of the bad reviews on here! UP TO THEM NOW TO TELL MAMAGEMENT TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT?!!! Location is... more

The hotel is centrally located. And the lobby is OK. This is a three-star hotel in the French system, clearly not deserved considering the overall standard of the hotel. The beds were OK and the sheets were OK, however no cleaning or vacuming under the beds for ages, walls covered with carpet, no safe, bathroom very small and arranged in... more

What a revolting and depressing hotel this was. The lights were so bad in the room it was quite impossible to see across the room after dark let alone try to read. One of us had to use the other's towels as there 'just weren't any' ! The carpet was paper thin and appeared to have been 'ironed' in one... more
