Bit of a long walk to the hotel from the railway station. We did realise after that there is a new tram system in Nice that we could have taken if we went left outside the railway station to the end of the road. The Hotel Boreal is situated just off the main shopping street in Nice giving great access to the centre of town and also within a 15minute walk of the restaurants and souvenir shops in the old town and Cours Saleya (the flower market). Stayed for 3 nights in April and found the hotel to be fairly basic but functional. Being about 20 minutes walk form the old town and about 15 minutes from Nice Ville station, from where you can get buses/trains to the airport, Monaco, Cannes, Antibes etc. it is a good spot from where to explore to Cote d'Azur. more

My fiance and I came here in April 2006 for a 3 night stay. I had a very good stay in that hotel. The room was very clean ( spick and span bathroom). We had a balcony too.
