This hotel is too far outside Chateauneuf to dispense with the car (disappointing for wine tasting). Our room was poky, with old fashioned decor and smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. Small hotel. Not flashy, but comfortable and clean. Good value. Resturant is outstanding. Chef is Master Chef of France. Wonderful 5 or 6 course meal and good wine. I rate the resturant as 5 stars. more

We stayed at this hotel for two nights in April. I would have to give it a below average rating. The walls are thin and we could smell smoke even though we had a non-smoking room.
