The room was extortionate, the food was terrible and it smelt like someone had repeatedly vomited. The legs on the single bed broke half way through the night and I'm not sure when the blankets or anything else had been washed, it hadn't been recently. more

If you want to stay in Avignon, do not book this hotel. It claims to be 5 km from the Castle of the Popes and maybe it is in birds eye view, but to get there you have to go through a "beautiful" district outside the walls. The bus to take you to the city centre takes about 20 minutes... more
