We stayed 3 nights at Francois and Marie's charming B&B. I cannot recommend it enough--from the delightfully delicious breakfasts to the intimate apertif hour complete with amazing appetizers that Marie has concocted. Francois and Marie are perfect hosts, helping visitors get the most out of their visit to Aix and Provence. The rooms are lovely, quiet, and well furnished. In... more

We have stayed at many B and B's around the world, and this was by far the best B and B experience of our life. The house and the grounds are beautiful, but the difference is in the little touches that you don't find at other properties - makeup mirror in the bathroom, grab bars in the tub, a folder... more

We have just returned from a 2 week vacation in France. We stayed four nights at the Pavillion de la Torse in mid September and had a wonderful time. The location was ideal as it is just a short 20-25 minute walk into the centre of Aix so there was no need to drive for dinner. The gounds are magnificent... more

My wife and family recently stayed at the Pavillon. Marie and Francois are lovely hosts. They have managed that rare feat of combining hospitality and discretion wonderfully well. The facilities and location of the property are excellent. Michael Murphy. Ireland. more

We stayed with Marie and Francois in mid-May and thoroughly enjoyed our time at their B&B. The grounds were beautiful, as was the house and our room. We stayed in the Pomerol room - the bed was very comfortable (queen size), the room was large and the bathroom was quite large and extremely clean with a bath and shower. We... more

In checking Trip Advisor I found Pavilion De la Torse and read all the favorable reviews. I was initially hesitant to stay here only because I had never stayed at a Bed and Breakfast before. I am so happy I decided to stay there. The place is marvelous. The hosts, Marie and Francois are great people. They made my family... more

I love Aix, but this place is the cherry on top! This place is a real find and has all the charm of a Provencal retreat but is only a 15 minute walk from the centre of Aix. The hosts are lovely, very friendily and welcoming. Joining them for an aperitif before dinner is a great way to meet fellow... more

Hidden behind gates and down a long drive hides the oasis of calm and beauty that is the Pavilon de la Torse. We found Francoise in the garden (as he normally is) and Marie in the house, preparing her treats for that evening's 'happy hour'. This really is a charming place to stay. Whilst most B&Bs are merely a base... more

We had a lovely time at the Pavillon de la Torse and would heartily recommend it to anyone wishing to explore Aix en Provence and its environs. The setting is great - you'd almost think you were in the countryside as the house is in substantial and well kept grounds, with a great pool to lounge beside/swim. However, you're a... more

This is a beautifully restored big old French town house set in stunning grounds just a few minutes walk from Old Aix which has spacious, modern and comfortable rooms and is lovingly maintained by charming hosts Francois and Maries. It was an absolute delight to stay here and could not be recommended enough!! more
