Stayed at the Clocher 4th-7th April for the rugby (Toulouse v Cardiff). Very good location for the main sights and shopping. Caught the bus from the airport - the stop at Jeanne D'Arc was very close to the hotel and took about 20 mins. The rooms were basic, clean and quite acceptable for the price. Good choice of restaurants and... more
We stayed here for 4 Nights last week and were very happy. The rooms were clean and surprisingly quiet. There was some music from outside, however considering we were on the street side of the hotel, we did not hear it. Breakfast was fine. The best thing about this hotel is the location. The Navette from the airport (costing €4)... more
Le Clocher De Rodez has a great location in old Toulouse near shopping and dining. The people working at the desk were really nice and helpful. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean and pleasant. The breakfast buffet was really good, the fresh orange juice machine was fun and made great fresh juice. more
Awesome hotel for the price. Paid about $80 US a night. The room was decent and the beds were comfortable. The shower was the best feature of the room. It had massage jets and converted to a steam bath. Great for relaxing after a long day of sightseeing. Well worth the money. Centrally located about 1/4 mile from train station.... more
My husband and I stayed here the night of our wedding as we had a very early flight to catch and checked in at 1:30am so didn't see the point in forking out for 5 hours sleep! Reception staff were still up and happy to check us in and on seeing me enter in my wedding dress upgraded us to... more
Stayed here with my stepson a few nights ago. This place wouldn't have suited my wife who is more used to Hiltons and Hyatts but for those of us who don't need luxury this place was ideal. As other reviewers have said, you couldn't be nearer to the airport bus stop on the main boulevard and for 4 Euros (6... more
I had a little confusion with the taxi driver on the way to this hotel because I asked for the Comfort Hotel and the driver simply knew it as Le Clocher De Rodez. Ince there though, the welcome was good, I didn't even need to provide my credit card on check in. The hotel is an old building with funny... more
Reading the other reviews its obvious that things can be a bit hit and miss at this hotel. Speaking for ourselves(2 adults/2 young children)We were pleasa ntly surprised. Although the elevator was possibly the smallest ive ever seen our room for 4 on the third floor was absolutely fine. Pleasantly decorated, Clean and quite spacious. The bathroom was the same,... more
From the website it seeemed a nice hotel and the staff I dealt with by email were prompt and helpful with every query. We were a party of 10 and the rooms (2 suites and 3 Exec rooms) varied. The sofa beds in both suites were possably the most uncomfortable beds their users had ever experienced, some rooms were tatty... more
