Arrived at the Five Hotel by 2 p.m. for a room reserved more than 3 months in advance, to be told that there had been a booking mistake on the part of the hotel, and that we would be accommodated at an alternative property in the 18th. (Scary, far away district of Paris outside the tourist hub.) How is this... more

The Five Hotel is a stunning hotel with its unique style and flamboyant colours with a twist of elegance. The location in the Latin Quarter is perfect walking distance for the whole of Paris especially in the summer months when I visited. The staff were very friendly and extremely accomadating, when I was planning my birthday trip to Paris I... more

The two most important things I look for in a hotel room are 1) quietness and 2) comfort. We got both at The Five Hotel, plus a whole lot more. The walls are completely soundproofed so we heard nothing from ajoining rooms--perfect! The bed was extremely comfortable, resulting in three nights of uninterrupted sleep. Our room was impeccably clean and... more

My husband booked a room at the Five Hotel for our anniversary, without telling me. What a nice surprise! When we arrived we had a bottle of champagne offered by the hotel, and petals displayed on our bed! The staff paid attention to every detail during our stay to make it perfect. We decided to take the breakfast in our... more

My fiancé and I spent a magic night at the Five Hotel! The design and atmosphere are totally dedicated to love and romance. We had booked a room through their website, with a ceiling full of stars: it was like sleeping under the stars but in a hotel room! The rooms are very functional and well-equipped. We enjoyed a lot... more

My husband and I took the Eurostar from London to Paris - definitely the most relaxing way to go. We had reserved a deluxe bedroom for two nights at The Five through Expedia, but were informed when we arrived that there had been a reservations confusion and we would have to change rooms each night. From that point on, the... more

The hotel is nice, small, modern, small, clean, small. If it's small? YES. The bathroom is so little that you need to be a gymnast to wash your theet. The room 603 despite its deluxe naming, has only a deluxe design. For 300 € per night I would have expected much more. The staff is very kind and comprehensive. more

I just recently stayed at The Five Hotel for my second time. It is definitely my favorite hotel to stay at because of the decor, the staff, and the ambiance. The rooms are decorating very well, and are quite nice for a Parisian hotel. I love the fiber optic lights in the rooms, on the ceiling and even in the... more

We spent some wonderful days in the Five Hotel, which is ideally placed in Paris. We had the suite for 4 persons. The rooms are very nicely decorated and the private jacuzzi on the terrace was the event for the kids. The rooms are not very big, but you really don't need much more just for sleeping. Very nice bathroom!... more

We, a 24 year old professional couple from the UK, stayed at Five Hotel for three nights in March 2008, in a standard room. Location: 5-10 minutes from Les Gobelins metro - Gare du Nord is realistically a 30 minute transfer by Metro. Other reviewers have commented that this is the 'edge' of the Latin Quarter: it is, but the... more
