Excellent value for money in costly Paris, this family-run hotel offers simple rooms in a charming area of Monmartre. We paid a little extra for a corner room with balcony & shower, which was surprisingly spacious considering all I'd been led to believe about Paris hotel rooms, very clean and newly decorated. Yes, the stairs are a bit knackering at... more

This hotel was definitely worth what we paid for it. We paid 55 euros and had a shower in our room. I am glad that we paid the little bit extra for the shower. I wish that we had gotten a balcony room, but they were all booked when we booked our room. The location of this hotel is what... more

Our room was a bit damp and musty but had lovely big windows that opened up onto the street. The whole hotel is a big dark and damp to be honest and they desperately need to install more showers, one shower on the ground floor is NOT enough. Had an odd charm about it however as we didn't see another... more

The hotel is in a great location, near the Abbesses and Blanche metro stops. The price in unbeatable too - 59 euros for the room with the balcony (23, 33, 43...) and 55 w/o. We could only get the balcony room for two days and had to switch. Both rooms were clean and basic. The shower stall is literally in... more

Bonsejour offers very good value for money for clean accommodation with character in the heart of Montmartre. It is well worth paying the small extra cost to get a corner balcony room (13, 23, 33, 43 & 53) if you can. The surrounding streets are the same height so there's no real benefit in getting a room above the second... more

My boyfriend and I are mid-20's and medical students, so we have little $$... Hotel Bonsejour was the perfect price for us. We "splurged" for a room w/ a shower (otherwise you have to share one shower on the 1st floor... and pay for each shower). PROS: very clean, great location (montmartre is amazing, it's beautiful, and it's a 3... more

Jean, the owner, and his family are wonderful. The hotel is immaculate, inexpensive, and they are happy to arrange for car service, and anything else. The bathrooms are always clean, and I return again and again for my budget business travel (wine business). There is a laundromat down the street, and the metro is just 2 short blocks away. Cheers,... more

The Hotel Bonsejour is great, especially for the price and especially if you are travelling alone. The owner runs a tight ship here and I felt very safe and comfortable. There's a shared shower and although I did take my trusty shower thongs just in case, it was always clean. Beds are comfy and made each day which I didn't... more

Good Location although difficult to find at first later realised it was very central to nice shopping and metro. Very safe area as I was a single traveller.Good for Sacre Couer and the local bistros and shops. Very good value for money but cheaped out on the shower charge, timed, on the first floor. of 2E, would rather have it... more

My sister and I stayed there for nine nights. Felt safe despite someone repeatedly trying to open our door. It was tidy and beds were comfortable. On the downside was the shared toilet, no alarm clock, and the stairs -- which after five days of walking all over Paris killed! But it has charm. We booked half our stay in... more
