Pretty useful location, a few metres from Jacque Bonsergent metro stop, and about 5 minutes walk from Place de la Republique. This is a pretty average hotel. It was clean but the room was compact and bijou! So, if you just need somewhere to sleep, and somewhere to recover from beating the boulevards of Paris this is perfect. Close to... more

This place was a real wake-up call as how bad "BAD" can get. The only redeeming quality about it were the reception staff who were very helpful and welcoming. The room was incredibly small and the double bed was stiff as a board (plus it took up nearly the whole the room). Our double was actually two single bed smashed... more

I am amazed and annoyed at the recent reviews of this hotel. Either we were lucky with our room or someone has it in for this hotel. We had a lovely room. Quite small but with a balcony. Nicely and modernly furnished. The room was absolutely spotless (for example, the pillow cases were changed every day of our stay) so... more

The hotel was poor in my opinion, and not cheap either. I paid €230 per night for a two night business trip. The smell in my room was appalling, not sure if they have a problem with the drains in this area. I had to sleep with the windows fully open to avoid the smell from the pokey bathroom. The... more

I booked this hotel on Hotwire on the understanding that it was a 3-star. Hotwire didn't have any reviews available before I booked it, as they often do, but I took a chance and booked it anyway. After I booked it and found out which hotel it was, I read the reviews on Trip Advisor. They were awful. I tried... more

My niece and I stayed at this hotel and we were told to come back in a few hours for check in. That was ok, as we were allowed to leave our luggage in a back office for safe keeping. This was a great convenience. When we finally did check in, they gave us a one-bed room. Not two beds,... more

We booked this hotel on lastminute(-). When we arrived we were also given the room right off reception. The night we arrived was very very hot and the windows opened right onto the pavement, so for security reasons we were not happy to sleep in the room. We were then given a room on the 6th floor, with the lift... more

I stayed here with a French friend who booked a good rate on lastminute. When we arrived we received a very friendly reception but the room wasn't ready which was reasonable because we were pretty early. We loved the location. Safe area, close to the Canal Saint Martin which is a lovely walking area and very convenient metro line. We... more

I went to Paris with my gf for her birthday, I chose this hotel because it is located pretty central and close to gare du norde. I expected a decent 3 * hotel not more and not less. When we arrived everything seemed to be alright. The staff was friendly but they gave us a room located next to the... more

Despite some of the very negative reviews appearing on this web page, my experience wasn't too bad. No musty smell, in the stairwells or elsewhere. Quiet room, no traffic noise (I guess it's luck of the draw, depending on which room you get). My room was on the third floor, overlooking an enclosed courtyard, so not very celubrious, and the... more
