We stayed at the Hostellerie La Briqueterie for 2 nights in May. We loved our stay here and are looking forward to returning. We had a deluxe room with a terrace area off the room. The hotel grounds are a delight with beautiful flowers and herb gardens. The hotel is a little ways outside of Epernay, we had a car,... more

Stayed here for New Years Eve 07 with wife and 3 kids in adjoining rooms - the staff were exceptional, the rooms were very smart, the restaurant and bar were fantastic, and the location was great - nice secure parking with champagne vineyards stretching away from your windows. We have found it hard to find a great hotel with a... more

We have just returned from a 2 night stay at this hotel, and I must say we were more than a little disappointed with many aspects. We paid for a "deluxe room" , which was dark, in need of maintenance (chipped paintwork, fan not working in an interior lavatory) and small. There was a very worn sofa covered with a... more

Stayed here in July 2007 on the way back home. Personally I was disapointed. The hotel is next to a main road and you can hear the traffic noise when sitting out in the garden terrace (and from our room). Our room, on the first floor, was very small and cramped. The bathroom was awful, although decorated nicely, the bath/shower... more

Beautiful hotel! Outside Epernay, so not likely to attract the first-time French visitor. Situated on several acres in the middle of beautiful countryside; outstanding gardens and ambiance outside. Inside the decor is exquisite -- country French with great style. Rooms are good-sized, with entry way, separate toilet-bidet room and comfortable bath. Evening turndown service. Spa is newly redecorated and beautiful.... more

We stayed here as part of our honeymoon last summer. Unfortunately the room prices has gone up dramatically since, or I would stay here again. This is the kind of hotel that you can have anything you whish, just be careful what you whish for - you might have to pay for it. As an example, I asked for simple... more

We loved this hotel! Only stayed for one night on a journey back from Germany to UK. Everything was perfect and the staff very attentive and helpful. The restaurant is very expensive (80 - 95 euros for set menu, or a la carte starters 25 - 30 euros, mains 30- 40 euros), but food was fantastic so worth splashing out... more

This was our first visit to La Briqueterie, but we will return. From our arrival to departure (2 night stay) we were treated so well by friendly helpful, but very professional staff . Our room was probably one of the cheapest, but so lovely, spacious and really well appointed. Dining was a gourmets dream. Everything we ate and drank was... more

Booked last minute through Relais and Chateaux and got 80 euro off a superior room. Wow, beautiful room, great staff, lovely restaurant and bar, perfect location although the main road is a 1% negative They accomodated us with a fine room and travel cot for the child, she ate for free which I though was a nice touch. Perfect for... more

I would like to have my b-day dinner here every year. Next time, I'm also staying in the hotel instead of in town. The dining room is very fancy, as is the service and the food, but one gets the impression that it is a favorite, comfy hangout for locals. Attire ranged from polo shirts and loafers to suits/ties for... more
