Just back from a 4 night stay at the Hotel du Manoir. This hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the bus and train stations in a nice area. Recently returned from a three day stay in Tours and was only able to stay one night at the Hotel Du Manoir since they were booked. Wished we were able to stay the entire time. Small, charming- tastefully decorated, not overdone like many French hotels. Would definitely stay there again. more

This is the best 2 star hotel in which I've stayed in France. Very clean, quiet, nicely located for walking anywhere you want in Tours. Very friendly proprietors / staff. Nice breakfast. Bathroom was fairly small but I was on the top floor & still had decent shower pressure. more

Hotel is well located on the edge of town center. A pleasant 10 minute walk to the old town and just round the corner from the train station and Tourist Office. Limited parking so be sure to reserve a space as on street parking was very busy. Free wireless access, very nice breakfast. Would definitely stay here again. more
