We stayed at the Holiday Inn Blois for one night on our way from CDG to a gite further south. The young receptionist was friendly but unable to answer our questions re sights in the town. This is a brief review as it is over a year since we visited Blois and stayed at this hotel. I am therefore adding to comments already here. This hotel is located on a main street but can be found without too much trouble. The car parking is underneath an archway and there was a small sign to indicate this.... more

The location was better than expected for this last leg of our vacation stay and it's these surprises that make it all the more memorable.
