we traveled 2 couples in our mid 40's and foud this hotel great. the rooms, the service, you can walk to town for meals, very central to visit the loire valley. would go back anytime! more

Spent a couple of nights at this hotel situated in the shadow of the Chateau at Amboise. Wonderful location by the river and three minutes from the high street and chateau. We just returned from a honeymoon in France and our stay at Hotel Le Manoir les Minimes was the highlight of our time there. It is unbelievably beautiful and romantic. We had the best experience with its great location and views for our friend's 60th birthday celebration, and the staff were very attentive - especially Pierre - but all his colleagues too. I can only add my praise for this hotel to those of the other reviews. We stayed for three nights and the hotel met all our expectations. We were upstairs in the Pavilion which comprised a large room with a very, very comfortable king size bed, a sofa and coffee table, two chairs and small writing/dining table and a TV.... more
