This hotel is in a very central location. Within walking distance of the Chateau, shopping, and places to eat. The hotel staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Despite all the comments and the hotel 'blurb', this is definitely a two star hotel. The rooms are very dated (e.g. worn 'cheap' carpets, old fashioned bathrooms with stained tiles and grouting and no proper shower). In addition, the room in which I stayed was COLD. We took the bus from Pau Airport to the City Centre with 3 bicycles packed in bags + rucksaks. We were pleased to only have to walk 1 minute to the hotel. It's perfectly located in the centre.
