“Beautiful hotel - an oasis.”

We stayed just one night but were made most welcome with real tea on arrival! The accommodation was spacious and the bathroom stunning - huge wet room style shower plus separate bath, 2 wash basins, robes, slippers and toiletries. loved everything from the historical 'wow' factor of the chateau, the lovely grounds, modern facilities and the splendid ambience and hospitality of the owners. Thoroughly recommend to anyone of all age or nationality. more

We stayed here for only 1 night but thought it was great. It's as if some friends have invited you to their chateau. It's well worth a vist, & has a great atmosphere of faded grandeur. I agree with the reviewer from Australia who couldn't understand why more people haven't reviewed this place. We stayed in one of the garden... more

Can't believe there are no reviews of this charming place. It really is like staying with stylish and most hospitable friends. Our room was enormous, upstairs - vast room elegant and classy decor, yet unpretenious. We were able to dine in the dining room - wonderful meal. Pre-dinner aperatifs in the billiard room (complete with the family cat).The next day... more
