Stayed overnight at the Travelodge Manchester Airport as I had an early flight the next morning. As it is a Travelodge, you have to expect it will be basic - but that doesn't make it bad. The staff were polite, the room was clean, the shower was good, the wifi was reasonably priced and the shuttle efficient. All in all... more

Obviously you I didn't expect much from a Travelodge and, given this was my first time in one, I set my expectations very low. Unfortunately it barely met them. The room is a good size, yes, but very, very basic. The lighting is harsh. The cleanliness leaves something to be desired (the whole second floor smelt like sweat... or something... more

if your on a stag night or hen night and you want as much people in the room as you can get, then fine, otherwise, stay clear. This place is the most basic of basic, entirely dated and needs redecorated from top to bottom. more

I stayed for one due to a very early morning flight. Hotel room was very basic as I expected, but perfectly OK. Room was a great size, good bathroom, everything clean and perfect for travellers. The onsite bar/restaurant was a bonus with a good selection of foods at a reasonable price. The airport shuttle service was ideal - leaving every... more

We stayed here for one night as we were catching a morning flight from the airport. It's a standard travel lodge so no frills or anything exciting. Our room was large, bathroom was big too and bath was good. It was perfectly clean and quite comfotable and very quiet, no noise from corridor at all. The bed could have been... more

We have stayed here on two occasions, once when arriving back from a holiday and once when visiting Manchester itself. The hotel is within easy reach of the airport and, if you do not mind driving, other venues in Manchester (e.g. Apollo). On both occasions we have stayed here we have managed to take advantage of the cheap rates online... more

Both basic however at Travelodge they do no more and often less than is required, the extra beds were not made up for us,just sheets doonas left in the room... more

As I write this review I have come to the conclusion that I will no longer use the Travelodge as I have had too many poor experiences now. For all the money I may have saved its just not worth it! This Travelodge is about 15 minutes drive from the airport, the same as most of the other hotels and... more

This is a Travelodge so you get what you pay for. Budget accomodation near the airport. I paid 39 pounds plus 6.50 total for breakfast for myself and my daughter (children under 16 eat free). I'm not gonna go on about the room because they are all the same, basic, comfortable and functional. Don' expect a free shuttle to the... more

This Travel Lodge does what it says on the tin! It is basic, clean and very close to the airport - perfect for an over night stay before going on holiday or when returning from an early flight. However beware if you check in after the check in time, in our case 10 minutes after 4am (due to a flight... more
