This was ghastly. Broken bed, window catches broken off, no door to en-suite. Biscuit crumbs on surfaces, thick dust on top of TV. Generally grotty and grimy feel about the place. After we survived the night, the breakfast was surprisingly okay! Really don't recommend this - it's better to bring a sleeping bag and doss in the street! more

Everything about this hotel is run down. It needs a complete overhaul. The room was dismal, none too clean. Fixtures worn or broken. Sheets smelt clean but had stains and there was a toenail in one of the beds... The tv managed one channel, the bathroom was not as clean as I'd have liked, the light was faulty....the list goes... more

I will not only write a terrible review I will actually show you... I had no choice but to stay in this dump (and that is a compliment for this place) for one night because every single room in Manchester was booked due to 3 conferences held in the city. After reading the reviews on this website I was a little apprehensive about my stay at this hotel although I didn't find it nearly as bad as descibed. We booked in, looked at the room then booked out again with a refund!! The room and bathroom were filthy, smelly and in our view, unfit to be used by any self-respecting person. DO NOT STAY THERE! I have had unautorised payments from them on my card and when I tried to contact them regarding this, the service I received was extremly unprofessional and rude and was not resolved. Unless you want to end up in the same boat as me I would recommend staying else where. more

Definately not a 3* hotel as was claimed by the website I booked through. The hotel and room I stayed in were quite obscure. On the day of my arrival I had no sheets on the bed, and no towels either. I guess that if it had not been for the young lady at the reception who quickly resolved all the problems, I would have left that place. more
