This was a last minute booking for somewhere local to Parrs Wood complex, Travel Inn is 50 times more luxury than this place, it's old, smelly, dirty and staff don't give a xxxx. Be warned, next time I'd sleep in the car, which is a good idea rather than leaving it on this 'hotels' car park. more
Looking at the web site for the Galleon, my husband and I were very impressed when looking for a place to stay in Manchester. Living in Glasgow and flying from Manchester Airport, meant we had to stay somewhere at the start and end of our holiday to break up our travelling. Oh how we now wish we had booked into... more
This hotel is in dire need of a good re-furb and staff training in customer relations. I stayed in a family room with my 2 children for 1 night. The room was adequate but outdated, although it was clean it was showing lots of wear and tear. Most of the staff seemed like they didn't really want to be there... more

After arriving at the poorly signed gymnasium (as that is what this place is, a gym with a few shocking room attached!) myself and my partner were directed to our room. It was with high hopes that we opened our door to see to our horror that we had two single beds at each end of a 70's style american... more
As the Village Hotel was fully booked I had the misfortune of having to stay at the Galleon in Cheadle. Just to portray a quick picture to try and save others from having to put up with a grim stay.... The bedroom was dated and smelly with extremenly hard beds, with the added bonus of a stained sheet! The bathroom... more
