OK, maybe not the ideal time to review this hotel as it was full of football fans for UEFA Cup Final (myself included) but here goes. We stayed at the Manchester Central Travelodge when we had a weekend away. The location, just off Deansgate, is ideal. The hotel was clean and the staff friendly and helpful. Just remember to take some earplugs as it can get noisy at night. more

Good location and good size rooms. There was a smell of damp from the shower curtain which spread into the room and mold on the tiles. I have stayed in a few Travelodge's now and they have all been fine but the one in Central Manchester was really disgusting! When we arrived there was dirt everywhere. On closer inspection, some of the 'dirt' was squashed spiders! They were still stuck to the walls. There were also live spiders running across the floor. It was very scary.... more
