On arrival we were warmly welcome and the staff was always friendly. This hotel is close to Brands Hatch Track and give some impressive views on the lovely Kentish country side. We stayed at this hotel in July 2008. The room was dreary and unwelcoming and had a fold up double bed a la james bond - very strange! Hotel is OK, but nothing special. The good. Pool facilities are good, well maintained and comprehensive. The beds are comfy, reception staff are friendly and helpful and the lounge and bar areas are well presented and nicely appointed. The Not so Good. What a brilliant hotel! Four of us stayed in the hotel for one night and it was superb. Even though there was a wedding and a conference happening while we were there we were looked after on a very individual basis. The rooms were lovely with choccies on the pillows, robes and slippers. stayed 4 nights for a business conferance rooms are fair but some are a long walk from reception i was lucky got one of the many smoking rooms good news for some but not for others with a very large window overlooking the car park room size is ok but fixtures and fittings nothing special breakfast well organized reasonable choices... more
