Booked this hotel for the bank holiday weekend via a De Vere e-mail advertising a special offer – 2 nights B&B and one evening meal. The room was OK but a room facing the quadrangle would be better. For an extra £3 you could have breakfast in your room which we took advantage of, and it included a cooked breakfast.... more

We have Just spent a night in the De Vere hotel in Swindon and having stayed in De Vere hotels before we were unpleasantly surprised with the poor quality of both the bar area furniture and the room workmanship. Was in Swindon for the weekend visiting friends and the hotel was the most convenient (and at a special offer of £69 per night including breakfast or brunch, one of the most reasonable).
