Really excellent food both at breakfast and dinner with plenty of homemade cooking, the breakfasts were particuarly inviting with muffins and American pancakes outstanding. The accommodation was spacious,we enjoyed the large lounge and conservatory, very relaxing after dinner. Olive and Paddy are very friendly hosts,we strongly advise anybody to stay there. Staying in Glasha is a lovely experience, lovely house and gardens in the middle of lush farming countryside. Breakfast are super here, so much choice and great home cooking. Olive is a lovely host and her husband Paddy while he doesn't get involved in the house as he is a full time farmer is a very nice man also. We... more

Our stay was very enjoyable. We travelled with our son and had a nicely furnished room with a queen and twin bed. The breakfasts were wonderful. Our son enjoyed the blueberry pancakes and we all liked the homemade scones and muffins. The grounds are beautiful and the countryside is peaceful. Just be sure that you have a detailed map. The... more

I would heartily recommend Glasha farmhouse to anyone, it's a fabulous place. It's located completely off the beaten track on a by road, very tranquil setting. The house itself is an authentic Irish farmhouse - and not Oirish; as appealing to an Irish visitor as a tourist from overseas. We stayed as a (grown up) family so I saw three... more

From check in to check out it was a great stay. For me to highlight every good point would take too long. To put it simply there were no bad points to our stay. Lovely rooms. Great food. A top notch guest house. Highly recommended. A great place to get away from it all and just relax. more

Olive's place was a wonderful welcome to Ireland! Elegant, clean, many amenities. There was a huge selection of mouthwatering foods for breakfast, even scrambled eggs with pansies! One night, our group got lost trying to find Glasha, and Olive talked us back home street by street. Someday, I'd love to return to Glasha Farmhouse. more

We just returned from a ten day trip to Ireland. Our party consisted of four couples. Our three day stay at Glasha was simply wonderful. Olive's warm welcome, complete with tea and delicious scones upon our arrival, and her continued attentive service throughout our stay were a wonderful introduction to Irish hospitality. The beautifully appointed and comfortable farmhouse and lovely... more

We just returned from a two week visit to Ireland. Our party consisted of seven family members ranging from age 9 to 50. All of us agreed that the Glasha Farmhouse was our favorite place to stay. As a frame of reference, we stayed at a townhouse in Dublin and Cork, the Killarney Park Hotel and Adare Manor. If you... more

The countryside around this large Farmhouse is very scenic. We have a B&B so we know all the pitfalls so we paid extra for the larger upstairs room, with Spa. I used the Spa, but not at 10pm like my neighbours on honeymoon. However the warm atmosphere, the large lounge and verandah area to mix with the other guests and... more

We loved our stay at Glasha. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable; the breakfasts and dinners were fabulous. Our hostess made us feel completely at home. Olive had excellent advice for exploring the surrounding area. It's not a standard bed and breakfast - it's a working farm nestled in a beautiful farming community and not in the middle of... more
