I have to say this hotel is a gem if you can get a deal (which we did by simply calling them and asking them what was on offer). The Spa is fantastic and the rooms are comfortable, clean and everything you would expect for a good 4 star hotel. I have read the previous reviews which I suspect are... more

I could write a book on this place but one word will sum it up. SUPERB! From the moment we arrived until we left there wasn't anything one could fault. Service, food, rooms and spa were all fantastic. Would highly reccoment this place. more

My boyfriend and I stayed in Ballygarry house for a two night weekend break. On arrival check in was very quick and the receptionest was warm and welcoming. Our room was gorgeous, with a beautiful view over the landscaped gardens and out to the mountains. The room and bathroom were both very large and clean. There is no mini bar... more

This review will be short and to the point. Hotel fantastic, very welcoming, warm and thoroughly professional. From the entry to reception to checking out the next day, I could find no fault. Food excellent , bedroom brilliant and very roomy. I will be back. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel. more

My husband and I stayed at Ballygarry recently and I have to say from the moment we arrived we felt right at home, the staff were unbelievably friendly and I felt they genuinely cared, which is rare nowadays! We had dinner in the restaurant, which was terrific and the restaurant itself is very welcoming and comfortable. Thanks to all the... more

Ballygarry House Hotel has the appearance of being a 4 star hotel but unfortunately appearances can be deceiving. Our problems started when our room was unavailable due to the late departure of the previous occupants (a wedding party). The receptionist looking quite harassed took our bags and stored them behind reception. We were given no welcome to the hotel and... more

I am really confused by some of the negative reviews here given that my husband and I have just returned from an enjoyable, relaxing three night break in Ballygarry House. Having stayed in some very luxurious deluxe hotels around the world we both agreed that Ballygarry House has a comfort and charm all it's own. Our room was spacious, comfortable... more

The old saying, "Don't judge a book by its cover," adequately expresses my thoughts on the Ballygarry Hotel experience. Nicely situated just outside of Tralee, this hotel appears to be elegant and inviting but, once inside closed doors, its true colors are immediately revealed. The hotel seems to have been recently refurbished and the smart hallways, lifts, and carpets taunt... more

This is a superb place, the minute we pulled in the concierge appeared to help us with our luggage. All of the staff were absolutely lovely, particularly Gina and the girls at the spa. The food was wonderful, the restaurant decorated in a very restful way. The Spa is amazing and definitely worth booking some treatments well before you arrive... more

We stayed one night of our 7 night stay in Ireland, but this was by far the best hotel we stayed in. It was luxurious and the rooms were spacious. The staff was courteous and I would recommend it to everyone. more
