Four of us stayed here for 3 nights in late June. When we arrived, there was an electricity cut throughout Killarney, so no restaurants were open. We went to Tesco and bought cold food and a couple of bottles of wine. Rosaleen immediately gave us 4 wine glasses and a spare chair so we could picnic in our room (by... more

Our family of seven (three generations)stayed for three nights. Denis welcomed us and gave us great ideas for short and all day long excursions. Rooms were comfy (our children had separate rooms and shared the bathroom and were thrilled).Rosaleen served breakfast and took time to talk to us and gave us great ideas about restaurants and sights to see. The... more

My husband and I stayed with the O'Learys for three nights in May '07. The home, and Rosaleen, were simply wonderful, and the most comfortable place to stay in every way. The room was lovely, clean, and roomy with a very comfortable queen-sized bed, and the house had a very "loved" feeling - hard to describe, but so "homey". The... more

The previous writer did a great job of capturing the essence of Ross Castle Lodge. I echo everything they said. You can't say enough about Rosaleen, with her kindness and hospitality. She puts everyone at ease and has such a nice personality. She is really good and committed to what she does. Her husband, Denis, was very nice, too. We... more

We can’t express enough how much we loved this B&B, and particularly the warm, lovely and friendly Rosaleen O’Leary. If you are coming to Killarney, look no further than this wonderful B&B! We stayed three nights at Ross Castle Lodge and were thoroughly impressed. There is plenty of parking right in front of the B&B, off the street. Rosaleen met... more

We had a bad first experience with another B&B with almost the same name as this. We discovered we were in the wrong B&B and called Mrs. O'Leary to tell her we were at the wrong place and so we missed the first night that we had booked with her. She was very understanding and wasn't upset at all. We... more

IF you want to be taken care of in splendid style, book in here. The O'Learys are the perfect hosts, we had a suite with two separate rooms [double beds] sharing a bath with a great power shower. The house is surrounded by lovely gardens, and the hosts will assist in planning/organizing all your activities. The breakfasts were some of... more

I stayed in 10 different B&Bs during my recent 3-week trip to Ireland, and Ross Castle Lodge was definitely my favorite! I had booked a twin room, and on arrival I was surprised to learn that we actually had 2 separate rooms sharing a bathroom. Great bonus! The rooms were tastefully decorated and had very comfortable beds. The owners are... more

My husband and I just returned from our first trip to Ireland. We spent our first two nights at the Ross Castle Lodge and cannot imagine starting our vacation out any better. From the moment you get to there Denis and Roseleen make you feel as welcomed as a family member. After an overnight flight we arrived at 11am and... more

We stayed here renting two rooms for two nights. Everything about the place was top notch. The setting and the welcome were off the scale. We felt so well cared for. Our rooms were large, tastefully decorated and had every comfort including a bit of chocolate. They booked a tour for us, recommended restuarants and even told us where to... more
