This is a great place to stay. It is just outside of town. It is a beautiful place. The owners couldn't have been nicer. We were late arriving and they waited up for us. Breakfast was grand and the rooms were very comfortable. They help us map out our day trips. more

After a week at different bed and breakfasts around Ireland, I would rate this the best. The hostess was very nice and made a great breakfast. The rooms were very clean, plenty of parking, and easy to access and find. It's in between downtown Killarney and Ross Castle. Also a nice garden around the house. more

We were a party of four, and stayed at a number of B&Bs in Ireland during our trip, and Ross Castle Lodge was our favourite place. An authentic Irish B&B, with an amazingly kind and welcoming host, Rosaleen, Ross Castle is a charming, beautifully furnished, and ultra-clean place to stay. We paid the same price as we did in other... more

We enjoyed our stay at Ross Castle Lodge. The location is quiet and away from the main town of Killarney. It is right next to the National Park and a few minutes walk from Ross Castle. We preferred this even though it meant a bit of a walk to Killarney in the evening for a meal. There is a road/track... more

I chose this B&B because of the very favourable reviews on Trip Advisor, wanting a surprise destination for my wife's 60th birthday. We were not disappointed. The room was large, clean and well furnished, including a huge bed - we lost each other... Breakfast was served in a lovely room, with plenty of choice and excellent fare. However, the best... more

The Ross Castle Lodge b&b is a really wonderful place to stay: I spent 4 nights there in August 2007. We have never stayed in a b&b before and it was an unforgettable experience. The rooms and the bathrooms are large, comfortable, clean, quiet; sheets and towels are changed every day; the breakfast is fantastic (and the breakfast room too,... more

We enjoyed our two night stay. A nice large, clean room with a huge comfortable bed. A great quite location on the outskirts of Killarney. We would stay there again! more

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Ross Castle B & B. Rosaleen was a very gracious and welcoming host. This bed and breakfast was located about a mile outside of town. It is very close to both Ross castle and Killarney National Park. We didn't mind the walk into town at all but it should be... more

The proprietors, Rosaleen and Denis O'Leary, were the perfect hosts. They were charming and helpful and ensured our comfort during our three-night stay at Ross Castle Lodge. They provided us with maps of the area and recommended trails to hike. They set up a tour of the Gap of Dunloe us, and then they kept an eye on us until... more

Four of us stayed here for 3 nights in late June. When we arrived, there was an electricity cut throughout Killarney, so no restaurants were open. We went to Tesco and bought cold food and a couple of bottles of wine. Rosaleen immediately gave us 4 wine glasses and a spare chair so we could picnic in our room (by... more
