An amazing honeymoonWe drove into Killarney in the evening and chanced upon Foley's. My partner was ill so we had to stray an additional night. The room was comfortable, quiet and the staff could not have been more helpful. Central location -- I highly reccomend more
I booked a surprise 60th at this hotel for 6 of us. The man on reception was very friendly, helpful and polite. I brought a cake with me but unfortunately it got damaged on the way and the chef very kindly made up a whole new cake for us. The rooms are wonderfully decorated, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. There... more
I went to Foleys for my 50th birthday and my Brothers 60th. Part of Foleys (22 High Street )was our family home 50 years ago. 26 friends and family went to celebrate. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The care and service shown to us was second to none. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable. We will go... more
I would definitely recommend this hotel for visitors to Killarney. The hotel staff were very friendly & the food was excellent. Housekeeping was to a high standard & beds/towels were changed daily. The location of the hotel is central therefore we didn't need a taxi in the evening, all the bars & restaurants were within a short walk. We were... more
My sister and I stayed in this guesthouse last August bank holiday weekend. The location was very central and the room was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately our room faced onto the street and it was difficult to sleep when everyone got kicked out of the pubs. A couple of guests were persistantly trying to get into our room during the... more
Great sized room and bathroom! Lots of space including a lounge to sit on. Had a spa bath with shower in the bathroom. Breakfast was really good - a selection of cereal or yoghurt, followed by a choice of hot meals. Didnt notice any noise from the street, considering it was right in the middle of town. The staff were... more
I booked a 3 night stay at this hotel after a mammoth search of various others on search engines over the net, after getting an absolute bargain on a flight from Liverpool to Kerry with Ryanair - £100.00 including taxes for 3 of us!!! It had been a surprise for my husband's 30th birthday and the trip coincided with the... more
The best stay of our trip. Nice room. Centrally located. The breakfast was simply wonderful. I wish I could have stayed longer. more
A basic room in a basic hotel. We did not experience the staff to be helpful at all. They were pleasant but not much help about anything (seemed that one was new and one didn't speak English). We were definately kept awake by the street noise so take that into consideration when booking a room here. more
Traveled with family, booked two rooms. They were quite nice rooms, very comfortable. Our plan was to stay two nights. However, on the first day our father took ill. The lady of the house was extremely helpful providing us detailed directions to Tralee Hospital. Seems Dad's pacemaker was not working proper. The doctors stabilized him and we were back to... more
